Introduction::
Hey Guys I know for many people it must have been a dream for Having A Media Center PC but did not fit to the budgets of your Pockets .Possible Reasons would be that you might be having a PC with Less Configuration or else did'nt have money to buy one Media center PC. So even i thought of the same thing.I wanted to have my pc like Media center but did,nt have money for buying one or did'nt have a TV Tuner card .So I collected a Few bucks and got a ATI Rage Simple card which had a Video out and a few AV cords (One used for Connecting a VCD player to TV)Also I have a Quite Knowledge of Electronics but dnt worry In this Article of mine you will learn how to create an IR Remote Control of your own and the Media Center sort of Software the one Shown on the image above .I have made everythin except you have to only Download the Softwares. I know there are many Websites which are based on how to create and build a  Media Center PC but they all involve a lot of money .Ofcourse This is not a Media Center PC but im sure it will definately Satisfy you.And After finishing this Project you can proudly say that even you have a Media center PC That too with a Remote Control.I m Myself a Graphic Designer and my hobby is Electronics. So even if you think u have a very bit knowledge of Electronics you can get Started off right Here.

Note: I have no Intention to Ruin Microsoft or Any other Software Company I Have Done it to Just share my Knowledge With You.And for those people who dream to have a Media Center PC but dnt have that Bucks to buy them.
 

Basic Requirements:
-A PC with Minimum 64 MB RAM & RS232 Port , Sound Card, 700 Mhz Processor Will Do, A Monitor. Windows XP .
-Rs 70/- ( 2 -3 US $) For Making an IR Remote Receiver (I think That Much You Can Always Afford). And a Remote Control from any of your Old TV or other Device. (Working Condition)

Requirements (Optional):
-A Video Card With TV Out (If you want your Media Center to Be displayed on TV or Monitor will do),    -A TV Tuner Card If you want to watch TV on your PC
-And 128 MB RAM (for Better Performance.)
